Document translation for official and professional use
Personal, educational, legal and company documents are translated with close attention to names, dates, numbers, formatting and their intended official use.
01
Certified document translation requires more than accurate wording. Names, dates, reference numbers, seals and the visual structure of the source must be handled consistently, so the receiving institution and intended country or procedure are clarified before work begins.
Certification, notarization and apostille requirements vary by authority and document. TG Interpreting manages the translation scope clearly and recommends confirming the current formal requirements directly with the receiving institution.
02
Birth and marriage certificates, population records, residence documents and identity materials.
Diplomas, transcripts, student records, certificates and academic application materials.
Contracts, powers of attorney, company records, registry documents and corporate certificates.
Documents requested for residence, employment, citizenship, consular and other formal applications.
03
The document type, target language and intended use are confirmed before the required translation and delivery format are agreed.
A readable scan or photograph is checked for page count, language, content and any special formatting requirements.
The document is prepared by a suitable translator with command of the target language and experience in official materials.
Names, dates, numbers and layout are reviewed before digital or required physical delivery is arranged.
04
A certified translation is signed or certified by an appropriately authorized translator. Notarization is a separate procedure that may be required by the receiving institution.
A readable scan is usually enough for review and quotation. If wet signatures, notarization or physical delivery are needed, any requirement for the original will be explained separately.
The safest approach is to check the written instructions of the receiving institution. The target language and required certification should be confirmed before translation begins.
Timing depends on the number of pages, target language, readability, formatting and any notarization or physical delivery requirement.
